Alison Armstrong

Alison Armstrong, hailing from Lincoln, Nebraska, is a caregiver and patient driven by
her personal experiences with the healthcare system. She is especially interested in
reforming healthcare for patients with complex chronic conditions, a cause close to her
heart as both she and her daughter navigate these challenges.

Alison intimately
understands the struggles of dealing with a fragmented, sometimes hurtful, and often
unkind healthcare system and hopes to help bring about meaningful change.


A former attorney and dedicated board member of Civic Nebraska, Alison has
leveraged her legal expertise and civic-minded spirit to champion community initiatives
and advocate for greater civic participation. Promoting democracy and community
involvement has long been and continues to be a passion of hers.


Alison is also adept at using social media to educate and engage the public. She
founded and manages a news literacy and civil discourse platform with thousands of
followers, aimed at helping people stay accurately informed and fostering productive,
respectful dialogue.


With her background and skills, Alison hopes to be asset to TPR’s mission, bringing a
unique perspective and dedication to improving healthcare.
