Daniel Hippen, a Liberal Arts student at The New School in New York City with a concentration on Public Policy and Leadership, is a dynamic Gen Z contributor to healthcare reform. His academic pursuits include a research project on Relative Value Units (RVUs) in healthcare, showcasing his dedication to exploring impactful policy changes within the healthcare system.

While working in NYU Langone Health's Patient Experience Department, Daniel initiated and led a patient feedback project. He personally called patients to listen to their experiences, a practice that not only provided crucial insights for patient care improvement but also underscored his commitment to a patient-first approach in healthcare. This direct engagement with patients played a key role in identifying areas for enhancement in the patient care experience.

Daniel’s approach to healthcare reform is shaped by these practical experiences, combined with a forward-thinking, progressive perspective. He is dedicated to challenging established norms in healthcare, seeking out effective solutions, and advocating for a system that prioritizes the well-being and dignity of each individual.
