Dhea Sekararum

Dhea is a researcher and designer with 7 years of working experience in tech companies in the Southeast Asia region, particularly Indonesia, where she set up, led, and managed people in different sizes of teams. She graduated with a Psychology degree and currently pursuing an MFA in Transdisciplinary Design from Parsons School of Design, New York. Through this program, she's learning to use design lenses and approaches to address systems issues at various scales and drive changes toward a more equitable society. She's very interested in working on the topics around care, especially healthcare and mental well-being, and currently working on how she can contribute to creating a more caring society using the lens of her practice, both in design and psychology. She's been working on a community-driven mental well-being initiative in Jakarta, Indonesia, alongside 3 other co-founders and looking to learn more about how she can bring this initiative forward. She lives in Brooklyn, New York now and travels to Jakarta, Indonesia once in a while.
