Doreen Rabi, MD

Doreen is a Professor in Medicine and the Division Chief of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Calgary and is also a health services researcher at the Libin Cardiovascular Institute of Alberta. She has received nearly $5 million in peer-reviewed research grants, has published more than 130 papers, and made significant contributions to Canadian clinical practice guidelines in hypertension and diabetes. As a professor, she spends most of her time striving for a more equitable and inclusive practice of medicine through her research, mentorship, and advocacy activities.
