Observations were taken hourly, including during the night.Often done with minimum of spoken interaction.No feedback on 'results' and not sure what the data was used for,
as it was not discussed in ward round.I would have been quite interested in whether my BP was up/down.Only interest shown was one time when data had been wrongly entered.Checking that the observations had been done felt more important than how I was feeling,
which I was rarely asked.
