Dr. Rizvi is a Physician Informaticist with a career that is a blend of both international and US education and experience. As a clinician and a health informatician, she has over 10 years of extensive research experience entailing planning, designing, conducting, and disseminating results of rigorous scientific research. Her areas of interest include workflow, usability analysis, and evaluation design studies of innovative digital health technologies (e.g., Artificial Intelligence-based clinical decision support tools), patient engagement, and outcomes studies. She has expertise in conducting mixed-method studies, entailing both qualitative data and quantitative collection/data analyses. Her passion is to promote and facilitate the delivery of equitable health care leveraging digital technologies. She has more than 35 publications (11 as first or senior author) / poster presentations on her portfolio that have been published in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences (listed in the publication section), with a few additional ones in the pipeline.
