Uzma Khan

Uzma Khan is a dedicated clinical rehabilitation and mental health counselor, currently pursuing a PhD in Rehabilitation Counselor Education at UW Madison. With a passion for improving the well-being of individuals, Uzma's work focuses on conducting impactful research regarding stigma and invisible chronic illness in the field of Rehabilitation Psychology.
Uzma has worked 5 years in hospital, crisis and outpatient settings where she noticed multiple systemic challenges against her clients. Through her studies and practice, she strives to enhance the lived experience of those in need, aiming to bridge the gap between research and practice.
Uzma's commitment to the field is evident in her academic pursuits and her hands-on approach to patient care. With a strong foundation in providing support and guidance, she aspires to make a positive difference in the lives of her clients and the broader community.
